Los Angeles experienced widespread celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a thrilling seven-game World Series title. Supporters worldwide joined local residents in celebration, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a team has secured consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Enormous Crowds
Local events included a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
Social media videos show thousands of Angelenos flooding downtown streets, many displaying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The squad was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the masses, raising the championship trophy proudly.
