Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really happening.
